Ask yourself if your really happy...i dont care if your making lots of money and your future is secure...have you done what youve always wanted to?...(im a hypocrite)

the problem with me is i just talk..i dont actually go out and do what i say..i postpone and i procrastinate everything...

even this blog is late by like 3 years...

i tend to overthink everything so i thought i might as well pen my thoughts...(or keyboard/type my thoughts..technology :P)

You have to watch this video..its about an average guy called matt harding...hes in his early 30s i think...hes visited over like 200 places all over the world...best part is he just did it because he wanted to...sure he saved up some money from his ordinary job...but would you do the same?? ask yourself...

think about how exciting that must have been...

who am i to say anything im just like everyone else...a rat...

I hide every emotion behind a smile...i talk to everyone with a smile on my face...donno why i just think its easier to deal with people that way ...

dont go through life thinking of what could have been...move forward and think of what you can be...

why cant we all be like little babies...they dont have issues with anything theyr genuinely happy or genuinely sad...no masks...no peer pressure...theyr minds are so pure.. free from disparity...

i have tons of hobbies that im really good at...who cares?? can i write that in my resume...how can i make a life out of a hobby??...thats the sad part...very few can...

okay im rambling too much...its just my first entry so its completely random...:D

Many nights at a call center

Sadly its true and im not afraid to admit it. I was ashamed of the fact that i worked in a call center.

Ive been thinking about it for a while now, why is it so demeaning to work in a call center? Its a full time job isnt it?? You have all the same tasks and duties and all the corporate hierarchy in a call center too. Why is a call center job frowned upon in our society?

While i was at wipro i was a technical support associate for HP...

When i applied for the job i expected it to be really easy and i heard it paid well. I worked there for about 5 months and it changed my whole perspective of things. I respect the guys that work there. The job i did wasnt as easy as they made it sound. It was just monotonous which is why i left.

The odd hours, the lack of long breaks, the constant need to be a 100% active for majority of your work hours. Trust me its not easy. I had to spend 9 hours a day glued to a headset and a computer navigating 10 different tools and at the same time worrying about a 100 different things, how do i fix it, i hope he gives me a good review, i wonder what i can say to avoid the dead air, please let him be one of those patient customers, hope ive documented it all correctly, will they give me a break.....

I had to instruct people in the US over the phone on how to fix any problem they had with their computers. So yeah each call lasted about an hour and its really challenging talking to a stranger for an hour, keeping him entertained and making sure he doesnt get mad or irritated, plus on top of that there are a billion things that can go wrong with a computer and its not easy figuring out a solution.

The only sad part is not a single person i know there liked what they do. I bet if you interviewed a 100 call takers there all of them would just say they are happy they have a job and it pays well.

Why do we look down upon it so?

Its a job right?

I respect them all. I might not have enjoyed it but it takes will power to do what these guys do everyday and night of their lives.

If you work in a call center dont hang your head in shame, be proud of what you do.

Smile if your happy or if you farted

Have you ever just stopped and looked around? just looked at everyone walking around you? Ever wonder what hes thinking or what shes thinking? I do it all the time, I just find it fascinating observing everyone, trying to figure out whats bothering that person or what those guys are laughing about? One day i noticed something, 90 percent of the people i looked at all had grumpy ticked off expressions on their faces.. whats become of us lately..
you know what the problem is...money...its making everyone so frustrated all the time
you end up living your life based on comparisons...let whatever happen happen...think of it this way "envy is a vicious circle"...
I know it sounds corny but i like just living and making a difference to the people around me...
Sure i may not be building the most attractive resume but at the end of the day when i look back at it all i look at the positives, all the people i met all the things ive done all the things ive learned...and im just happy :D...
i like it when i notice the simple joys around me..like when i genuinely see someone happy and not that fake put up effort they call a smile...
when the watchman in my building smiles when i salute him and he just looks so happy when hes having a conversation with someone on his boring night duty..
like when a new mom keeps complaining about not getting sleep and is all grouchy until the baby laughs then she just smiles and everything else just goes away..
when you want something and you actually get it...
when you watch a sappy movie and the endings all gooey and lovey dovey :P
ah how i wish everyone would just smile more..
